First and foremost, osteoarthritic or degenerative joint disease is probably the most common condition we see chronic pain due to these degenerative arthritic conditions. What is arthritis? Well, arthritis is a disease of the bone joint of soft tissues. It can manifest itself with stiffness, tightness, reduction of range of motion, functional deficits, weakness, it can progress into neurological disorders and neuropathies. The list goes on and on and on. But at the core a common result is inability to move well and ability to to enjoy your life to the fullest changes in activities of daily living. These are the key determinants that result in a diminished quality of life and a life that is harder to perform. This can also affect your immune system, your overall health, it can accelerate your aging. So what are some other conditions chronic pain, chronic degenerative pain is the other most common condition we see with our senior citizens. Typically, our senior citizens are under medication for conditions maybe thyroid or heart or high blood pressure or cholesterol or other disorders, pain management as well. What we want to do is help our senior citizens get off of the pain medication as much as possible. We don’t need to give more medications. When we’re already taking multiple medications for different conditions. We need something more natural, holistic, that’s targeting the cause of our pain, targeting that joint pain, that joint arthritis.
