How Do We Treat Auto Injuries In Oxnard, CA?
One of the main ways that we treat auto injuries is that we perform a comprehensive consultation and examination. The way we talk with patients while taking a history lays the foundation for good care.
By listening and responding skillfully and empathetically, we learn what is bothering the patient and what symptoms he or she has experienced. We also may learn what the patient thinks the trouble may be how or why it happened and what outcome is hoped for or feared.
As we listen to the story of an illness or injury, moreover, we begin to formulate a range of possibilities or possible diagnoses. By asking additional questions, we can fill in the gaps in the patient’s initial account and test some of our diagnostic hypotheses.
This process, when successful, helps to establish a trusting relationship. It develops our understanding of how the patient has a person and in turn, helps the patient feel understood.
What we learned while taking the history, helps to shape the history itself, and it suggests the most relevant body parts or systems on which we may focus our physical examination. At a later stage of care, it will affect the explanation to the patient and insurance companies’ plans for the future.
We also have the capability of performing digital X-rays on-site. We can then perform functional and orthopedic and neurological exams and tests and we get to the root of the problem.
Proper Insurance Documentation
Then finally, all of that is tied in by proper documentation of the injuries, which is very important for the insurance company.
So if you’re in a car accident, slip and fall, or some kind of an injury, come on in, let’s get you checked, and let’s see how we can help you.
